A ceilidh dance is one of the few things in life that doesn’t require any prior knowledge or experience – just join in and have fun! They are superb at incorporating all age-groups, a real generation-mixer! If that’s not enough, ceilidhs are also great ways to burn calories. You couldn’t ask much more from an activity. However, there are a few things I can tell you to save you some time and confusion on the dance floor, the sorts of things you would have picked up in time anyway. Many people say that we learn best by making mistakes but I also hold that to be forewarned is forearmed. Dont forget to check out my Top 10 Tips for new dancers!
